You’ve fit one corner of the fitted sheet over the bed mattress, you then fit the second corner and tucked them perfectly, then you find yourself huffing and puffing to do the next corner but the sheet wont fit! Oh Boy! You’ve bought the wrong fitted sheet size. Fortunately, this is easy to fix! Our size tables below are designed to assist you through the process of purchasing your Home Luxx (Pty) Ltd bed linen. Whether your bed is a Single, Double, Queen, King or you don’t know! Worry not, ALL you need is a tape measure.

Measuring your mattress:
Step 1- Make sure to measure the length and width of your mattress in centimetres. Using a tape measure on the centimetre side, measure the length of the mattress: From the top corner to the bottom corner. Measure the width of the mattress: From the left corner to the right corner.
Step 2- Measure the mattress depth (thickness from the top to bottom edges) in centimetres: using your tape measure, measure the thickness of the mattress from the top edge to the bottom edge of a corner. Many newer mattresses manufactured today are thicker in depth and thus have extra depth. This needs to be kept in mind when purchasing bed linen as the standard sizing will not fit, please take extra precaution for fitted sheets and mattress protectors especially. Here are a few useful sizing guides to help you choose the correct bed linen for your specific bed size. These sizing tables refer to South African standard size beds. Duvet inners are mostly standard in size and do not affect the length of the bed, however if you prefer a fuller mattress coverage then please consider sizing up when choosing bed linen.
